Pauline Powell
b. 08 Sep 1890, Post Twp.

No stone, but county death records state that this child was buried at Minert Cemetery. The death record does not list her parents. She died at age 11 months and 12 days after a 12 hour bout with whooping cough.

Vivian Powell
b. 12 Dec 1885, Post Twp.
d. 23 May 1886, Post Twp.
"Son of L. & M.U. Powell"

Vivian was the son of Lorenzo Powell and Margaret Union Harris. Around 1890 the Powells left Allamakee county and moved to Norton, Kansas. By 1900 his mother was living in Denver, Colorado, and married to John Lochmiller.

This child is buried in the James Laughlin family plot near the front of the cemetery. The stone is a flat stone just south of the Laughlin family markers. The stone has sunken into the ground and is barely visible.

Maternal grandparents of Vivian Powell were Elisha Harris and Margaret Patterson. Maternal great grandparents were William Patterson and Mary Taylor.
